Earth Day: Kids Craft
Apr 25 @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am

Continue the celebration of Earth Day. We will be using recycled materials to make a variety of instruments. From tin can drums and toilet paper roll maracas to rubber band guitars. We will create our own band! March in a short parade through the library to the children’s area for a short story about our wonderful planet. This event is geared for children 3yrs and up.

Earth Day: ecomaine presentation
Apr 25 @ 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Join us in our final Earth Day activity of the week. We will be joined by special guest Leo Maheu from ecomaine. Leo will be sharing with us fun info and activities on recycling and guide us through a virtual tour of the recycling plant in Portland. Find out the mystery behind where our items go when we recycle them. We will then rev up the blenders and make our own hand made recycled paper! This event is intended for kids 8yrs and up, parents are encouraged to attend.
