Children age 11-18 must have a sign permission form, parents must sign in person.
Do you ever feel like being a robot? Well come make your very own robotic arm. We will learn some basic mechanics of how they work and then create our own arm. This activity is geared to children 8yrs and up but all ages may attend.

Come here some stories about robots and their friends, young inventors and other tales about creative minds. This event is geared to preschool aged children but all are welcome.
We will learn about tangrams and each child will get to make their own set to take home. This event is geared to elementary school aged children but all are welcome.
Join us for this on-going summer group in partnership with LEA (Lakes Environmental Association) where we will investigate the wondrous animals and ecosystems of our local Pondicherry Park. This group will meet every Wednesday through the summer. We will investigate a new topic each week followed by a related story, craft project, and journal writing. We will then spend the other half hour outside on the trail putting our new knowledge into action. Find Junior Naturalist Schedule for all dates and descriptions at the front desk. Separate registration for this program is required.
Learn a little about tangrams and storytelling. Each child will receive their own sets of paper tangrams and be given examples of many animals, people, and other things that can be created using them. After a little experimenting children will be asked to create their own story and illustrate it using the tangram shapes. This activity is geared to children ages preschool to third grade, all are welcome.
Join us for stories told about and with tangrams. We will have fun playing with these shapes and listen to music after we read. This activity is geared to preschool aged children but all are welcome.
For those of you who have participated in the Summer Reading Program. Come celebrate accomplishing your goal. We will share with each other all the great books we read, eat pizza and play a few games. You must bring your final reading goal record signed by a parent/guardian. Happy Reading!
