Collections & Services
The Children's Room at the Bridgton Public Library is a welcoming place for children of all ages.  The Children's Services staff is committed to helping children develop a love of books and reading, and is happy to help children and parents select books and resources to fit their needs.

The collection consists of over 9,000 volumes, including over 500 audiovisual materials.  We offer board books for the very young, picture books for storytelling, early readers, juvenile fiction for grades 3 to 6, and young adult materials for grade 7 and up.  Our nonfiction section has books for all ages and interests.  We also have an extensive folklore collection.  Reference materials are available both in print and online.   Our audios and videos are very popular and cover a wide range of subjects and settings.
